Victory+: FAST sports streaming delivered on the shared APMC OTT stack
Victory+ is A Parent Media Co.’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) sports service. It runs in production on the shared APMC OTT stack VeUP operates on AWS — the same CloudFront + MediaTailor delivery plane and governance posture that serves Kidoodle.TV, carrying live and on-demand sports to its audience.
The challenge
A FAST sports service lives or dies on two things: delivery that holds up at internet scale when an audience arrives at once, and server-side ad insertion that monetizes free streams consistently across every device. Rather than standing up a second platform, Victory+ needed those properties from day one — which meant launching on an estate already engineered, governed, and cost-managed for high-scale OTT delivery.
The solution
Victory+ is delivered by the shared APMC OTT stack — one AWS estate serving both APMC streaming properties. Amazon CloudFront provides global edge delivery of HLS/DASH segments and manifests with OTT-tuned cache behaviors (long-lived caching for immutable segments, short-TTL for the personalized manifest path), and AWS Elemental MediaTailor stitches ads server-side at the manifest layer — device-consistent, ad-blocker-resistant monetization for FAST inventory. The edge is fronted by AWS WAF, ACM HTTPS, and Amazon Route 53, and the estate around it is governed by AWS Backup DR, AWS Config drift detection, AWS Security Hub centralized posture, and Amazon CloudWatch metrics under AWS Organizations + IAM Identity Center.

Production outcomes
| KPI | Result |
|---|---|
| Production outcomes | Victory+ runs in production as one of the two OTT properties on the shared APMC stack, with the estate holding a Green account-health rating — CloudFront edge delivery and MediaTailor server-side ad insertion at the manifest layer, inside the same governed AWS Backup / Config / Security Hub posture that protects the whole estate. |
| Platform leverage | Because both properties share one engineered OTT stack, Victory+ inherits the estate’s FinOps discipline, DR strategy, and security governance rather than duplicating them — the delivery economics and operational posture scale across the portfolio, not per property. |
